Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced web application project manager to oversee the development of our web applications from concept to launch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project team, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope and within budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful web application projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of web application projects, ensuring that project goals are met and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Coordinate project activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, including project milestones, risks, and issues.

• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and support to develop contingency plans to mitigate potential project delays or cost overruns.

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and ensure that project outcomes align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that the web application is designed with an optimal user experience in mind.

• Ensure that the web application is secure, scalable, and performing optimally, by working with website hosting and server management teams.

• Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing web application development projects from start to finish

• Strong technical background, with knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.

• Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project team members.

• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to implement solutions quickly to keep the project on track

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.

• Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure project is completed within given timeframe

• Experience with website hosting and server management 

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, is a plus.

• Understanding of usability and User Experience design is a plus.
